Visiting here is more of an exploration into the past. There is a lot of history, many temples and folkstories about this place.
In a little village called Bungamati we visited this little temple which sat in teh middle of a quiet square. Besides the women thrashing mustard bushes, we were the only other people there and sat having tea with some locals. Such a great little find and enough off the beaten trail to be peaceful.
A perfect stay if you want to relax from the hectic of Kathmandu. Or want to make day trips in the valley. A perfect place!!!!
