Naincha Jatra
This festival exclusive to Bungamati is celebrated on the seventh day of Dashain. Boys and girls from the Maharjan community dressed in traditional wear parades the alleys of Bungamati dancing in the tune of traditional music. Then they perform the dance in the courtyard (near the current Buspark) for an hour. On this day, the people from the Maharjan community organize feasts.
