Local women from Bungamati plant and harvest the local products like rice, Gundruk, white chiura and many other local products. SABAH Nepal, an implementing partner of Parya Sampada project encourages the youth and women group in promotion of local food chain in Bungamati.
Sugam Raj Shakya is engaged in developing the different wood crafts incorporating the aesthetic value of culture in Bungamati. He thanked the Parya Samapda project for providing the exposure in promotion of business and showcase the wooden products among the customers.
Purna Laxmi Shakya from the core part of Bungamati has a stall named "Maize Husks". She kept the different interior decorative items made from maize husk like sack, poppet, tea pad and many more. She builds her confidence once received the training from the Parya Sampada project, funded by European Union Switch-Asia Programme.
